We saw these giant river otters nearly every day at Cocha Cashu swimming by the station in Manu Park. We saw them eating fish, electric eels and more. The otters are so playful. They can also be fairly aggressive. I love these animals, and it’s a shame that there are so few of them left. They were almost hunted to extinction because of their pelts earlier this century.
